This Privacy Policy explains what information LEAR ("we", "us"), operated by Global Intercultural Consulting LLC, collects through the LEAR mobile app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to provide the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information You Provide
When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and, if you use Sign in with Apple, your name. Content you create in the app — including projects, saved calculations, inputs, and generated reports — is stored on our servers and linked to your account so you can access it across your devices.
Information Collected Automatically
To deliver core features we process an account identifier and, if you enable notifications, a device push token used only to send the reminders you opt into. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Payments
Subscriptions and payments are processed by PayPal under PayPal's own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to authenticate you, to provide and sync your calculators, projects, and reports, to send service messages and any reminders you enable, to respond to support and inquiry requests, and to meet legal and security obligations.
Service Providers
We share data only with providers that operate the service on our behalf: Supabase (authentication and database), Apple (Sign in with Apple), Expo (push notification delivery), and PayPal (payments). They may process your data only to provide their service to us.
No Tracking or Advertising
We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not share your data with data brokers or advertising networks. The app requests no App Tracking Transparency permission because no such tracking occurs.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Account → Delete account & data in the app, or by contacting us. Deletion removes your personal data except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations.
Children's Privacy
LEAR is intended for professional and business use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
International Users
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, through in-app or email notice.
